Freejump Stirrups For Children.

Following the success of the adult Freejump Soft’Up Pro Stirrups. Freejump noticed that the technology used for children’s riding equipment was basic and under developed. Quick to react. Freejump modelled the Soft Up Lite on the adult version but with some noticeable changes.

Firstly brighter colours were introduced for the kids stirrups range. Pink and baby blue and now also a stylish silver grey to name just a few. Now the Childrens Freejump stirrups also do note have a weight limit. As a result this has meant that smaller adults are now able to purchase the children’s soft’up lite’s. The tread width is 10.7cm (this usually fits up to UK 6 shoe size).

The Freejump Childrens Stirrups have a flexible outer branch. As mentioned previously this therefore helps to free the foot in the event of a fall.

The Freejump Stirrups design places the riders foot in the perfect position. A nonslip moulded plastic studded tread surface, offers the rider superb grip.  Consequently helping to keep the foot in position at all times.

Do I need to use Freejump Stirrup Leathers with my Freejump Stirrups?

In one simple answer NO. It is not necessary to use the Freejump Stirrup Leathers with the soft up stirrups. There are hundreds of riders around the world that use just their normal classic stirrup leathers everyday.

The stirrup has a tempered spring steel single-branch with extra high mechanical resistance. It also has a flexible outer spring system. This fastens to the Freejump stirrup leather 45° angled eye for a perfect foot position.

With the branch of the stirrup located at the front of the tread. It provides a natural slope, that has a beveled rear leading edge. This offers enhanced lateral stability for the rider.

The open eye allows easy fastening to the Freejump Stirrup Leathers. This therefore allows quick changing of stirrups between saddles.

It is set at a 45-degree angle, that therefore allows the stirrups to hang perfectly from the leathers.

Optional coloured pins are available. All stirrups come with a black pin as standard. This also gives the rider the opportunity to tweak his or her colours, to match their riding and team colours.
