New for the winter season 2022, the Skin Friendly Under Rug Neck 150 gram is the latest addition from Kentucky Horsewear. Filled with 150 grams of filling, the rug is also lined with gorgeous soft faux fur lining which keeps your horses warm and cosy.

This addition of under rug, is easily to adapt to your horses needs with the addition of the neck, which is also included in the purchase.

Perfect for horses with sensitive skin, the rug is easily combined with other rugs, by using the Skin Friendly Under Rug Neck 150 gram as your base layer for your horse. Simply add additional rugs on top if needed.

The gorgeous faux fur lining helps retain heat, by trapping air in tiny little air pockets. This and the 150 gram filling, makes this rug the perfect choice of skin friendly under rugs.

The neck part of the rug is designed not to add extra pressure to the withers. It uses a double Velcro closure to fasten the neck to the rug and to secure comfortably to the horse.

What is the Skin Friendly Under Rug Neck made from?

The outside of the under rug skin-friendly is made from polyester microfiber. The yarn in this fabric was sanded to create a cotton touch. The lining of the under rug is our popular artificial rabbit skin. The artificial rabbit skin is very pleasant for your horse to wear, particularly for horses with sensitive skin or clipped horses. The lining creates an extra isolating layer to hold your horse’s body warmth and creates a shiny effect on the horse’s coat. The 150g fiber filling has the same advantages as down, but it does, unlike down, not absorb any smell.

Shape & size
The under rug is a little shorter than other rugs so it fits nicely under other rugs and therefore won’t absorb moisture. Thanks to the artificial rabbit skin, the rug always moves back into the right place. Because of the polyester microfiber, the rug stays more in place with other rugs.

The rug closes with a front closure in combination with a hook and loop fastening. On the back are 2 D rings provided to attach a tail cord. The attachment of the neck is different, where this time as already mentioned above, double Velcro is used.
