KM Elite Airshock Tendon Boots

KM Elite Airshock Tendon Boots are one of the toughest, lightest, highest quality tendon boots on the market today. Combining TPU plastics with a special elastic soft perforated material, the boots rest comfortably where other boots tend to mark and rub. The inner shell is lined for extra comfort, and perforated with air vents to allow the horses legs to breathe and have a strong Velcro fastening.

Pressurized air is captured inside a sits in a specially designed cavity under the hard TPU strike area, outside of the perforated neoprene inner liner. It reduces the force of an impact, then returns to its original shape and volume.

Flexor Tendon Protection

The Air Shock cushion absorbs impact forces and allows the muscles, joints and tendons to be protected. It immediately returns to its original shape ready to protect against the next impact force.

Dual Hardness Shell

The special strike area is harder than the rest of the boot for excellent impact protection. It is raised and shaped to allow the Air Shock cushion to sit and function perfectly in the cavity. This design also helps the boot conform to the leg and resist slipping. The extra strike height allows more space for deformation when the strike area absorbs impact. Fetlock strike areas use a thicker TPU for increased protection.

Vented Shell Design

The shell design incorporates the tendon boot and provides a path for heat to escape as a result helping your horse to keep its legs cool.
