Trust Leather Combination Hackamore

The Trust Leather Combination Hackamore is a bit with a leather mouth piece and adjustable shanks. The leather mouth piece is a great choice for horses that do not accept metal bits in their mouth. Leather is wrapped around a reinforced nylon core. This adds security and prevents the bit of breaking.

Trust Equestrian do NOT use chemicals during the tanning process. The leather is naturally tanned. The leather is not harmful to horses.

This is a great bit for young and sensitive mouthed horses, due to the taste and also the softness of the bit.

Trust Leather Bits

Trust Leather Bits encourage the horse to salivate. As this softens the mouthpiece it will therefore make the bit more comfortable for the horse. As a result, this can often encourage the horse to take a better contact with the bit.

Combination Hackamore

The Trust Combination Hackamore is fully adjustable. The bit is easy to adjust, using the allen key supplied. by moving the stoppers. It is available in short shank and long shank. The Combination Bit can be a strong bit when used correctly.

A long shank applies more pressure to the nose. Whilst a shorter shank applies less. A soft rubber covers the nose band. This is kind on the nose, but still applies pressure when required. Supplied and fitted with a curb strap.
