Trust Leather Pelham

The Trust Leather Pelham uses a reinforced flexible nylon core, with naturally tanned leather around the mouth piece. The leather encourages the horse to salivate. This therefore softens the leather mouthpiece even more, which makes the bit kinder in the horses mouth.

As a result this makes the Trust Leather Pelham a suitable bit for horses with a sensitive mouth.

The core of the bit is made of reinforced nylon. The leather that is stitched around this core, is naturally tanned without chemicals. As a result the bit is safe for horses and humans. The saliva production softens the leather bit and makes it more pleasant in the horses mouth

The soft flexible mouthpiece in combination with the taste of the leather, makes the bit particularly suitable for horses with a sensitive mouth.

The Trust Leather Pelham has attachments for two reins. One near the mouthpiece and one at the end of the shank. The long shanks of the Pelham also prevent the bit being pulled sideways through the mouth. This therefore acts as a guide and is a great way of steering the horses head.
